After my success in getting picked for the Top Three in both the Spectrum Noir and Crafter’s Companion challenges last month, this is my entry for CC’s December challenge – ‘Ribbon, Thread or Twine’:
I cut the tag shape from heavyweight burgundy card and covered it with some gorgeous Teresa Collins papers. I used Peeled Paint Distress Ink around the edge of the tag, which toned well with the papers. I then cut a Die’Sire snowflake and attached it with some double-sided tape before adding iridescent Stickles and a clear gem.
The green fibres are by Maya Road, and add some texture to the project. I trimmed around the join in the papers with some crochet lace and gingham ribbon.
Finally, I used Rock Candy Distress Stickles around the edge of the tag – I love the sugary texture and subtle sparkle, and a few dots of Pearl Pen and Glossy Accents.
I am also entering this into –
wow! this is so stylish and awesome!
