This week’s challenge at Handmade Harbour is all about ‘Fur or Feathers’. This gave me an opportunity to try out one of their very own digi-stamps. I love this cat – he is so cute!
I decided to make an easel card because cat is such a great size, and wanted him to be the main feature. I coloured the image with Spectrum Noir pens:
TN3, TN6, TN9, BG1, BG2, Blender
The cat themed backing card was just black and white so I added some colour with these pretty pastel shades (so they weren’t too overpowering):
CR2, TN3, IG2, TB1
The sentiment is a stamp from Little Claire Designs and I added some colour with BG2 before cutting out and layering on a punched scallop circle.
This is a great card for any cat lover – who could resist this cute face?
Teresa this card is so adorable! I love the easel card you made with it and the super cute cat….she is colored perfectly. I also really like your sentiment! Thanks so much for joining us at Handmade Harbour and we look forward to seeing more of your creations again soon!
That is so cute. I really like what you’ve done with the background paper.
Thanks – a bit of colour made all the difference.
