It’s time for my second post for the Sun, Sea and Sand challenge at Country View Challenges. This time my project is a simple canvas with an abstract interpretation of the sea.
I painted my canvas with shades of white and blue acrylic paints to create an ombre effect. I mixed some art stones with heavy gel medium and applied with a palette knife to create the sea-foam texture.
Once this was dry I stamped the Visible Image sentiment and embossed with black embossing powder. I used a white inkpad to stamp the bubbles.
I love the simplicity of this piece, it is the perfect backdrop for the evocative words.
