Quirky Canvas – The Written Word

Welcome back to my second post for the Written Word challenge at Country View Challenges. This time I have a quirky mixed media canvas.

I used modelling paste through a stencil from AALL and Create and set aside to dry. Meanwhile I stamped the Stampotique girl onto card and coloured with Distress Inks and pencil crayon.

Once the modelling paste was dry I added washes of paint and acrylic sprays. I let these dry before stamping the stars and numbers with Archival Ink.

I grounded the figure on some strips of washi tape and added a Tim Holtz sentiment to finish.
