Yesterday marked the first day of Spring, and for me it was a grey and rainy day!! Today however, the sun is shining through the window and I have a pretty floral tag to share using some of the Sweet Dixie stamps from Personal Impressions. I used the Spring Flourishes and Retro Flowers sets.
My background is a ‘mop up’ of Distress Oxide inks, well watered down as it was the last scraps of ink from my mat!! Once the tag was dry, I stamped the beautiful flourish with Jet Black Archival ink. The flowers were stamped onto another scrap of card coloured with the Distress Oxide inks, then fussy cut and shaped slightly before being glued into place. I added tiny buttons to the centres and doodled a border around the tag with a black fineliner pen.
Some colourful fibres and tiny text stickers complete this simple project.
