Under The Sea…

I really wanted to enter Delicious Doodles’ challenge ‘For The Love Of Animals’ this week, mainly so I could use this image of ‘Cancer’ by Teri Sherman.

I printed the image twice, fussy cutting and layering for a dimensional effect. I coloured it with a mixture of Promarkers and Spectrum Noir pens.

The canvas board base is painted with acrylic paint and I used a mask for the ‘stripy’ effect.

The quote is a Kaisercraft Rub-On.

Once I’d glued the image to the board I added Glossy Accents to the crab shells, pincers, and pearls in her hair.

I finished with some gold and silver microbeads (for a seabed effect) and a few adhesive pearls.
