Happy New Year to you all!! Today we announce a new challenge over at Country View Challenges, and our theme is Cityscapes and Landscapes. I used a cool set of Tim Holtz Sizzix does to create a cityscape over a gel print background:

I created the background using alcohol inks on my gel plate through a stencil. I lifted the design onto paper with acrylic paint.
The buildings were die cut from different neutral shades of cardstock and were inked around the edges with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. I finished off with a Tim Holtz Chit Chat sticker.

Please pop over to the Country View Challenges blog and join in with us for a chance to win £20 to spend in the Country View Crafts shop.

Love the look of your Gelli print, I’ve never tried alcohol inks on the plate, I must investigate… The finished scene is great, Teresa, I love how you built a city from the die-cuts!
