Well, it’s Friday at last and that means it’s time to do something creative. I picked up some gorgeous Graphic45 papers on a shopping trip the other week and have been itching to do some scrapbook layouts.
I photographed the beach board walk whilst on holiday near Hastings and wanted to keep the page simple to reflect the clean lines in the picture. I used the frame from the Graphic45 ‘On the Boardwalk’ paper over a sandy coloured backing card. Then used pieces of plain complementary coloured card and the stripy reverse of the Graphic45 paper to add colour behind the photograph. I love using Kaisercraft rub-ons….the quotes are brilliant and they are easy to apply. All that was needed now was a bit of dimension, which I got by using some metal embellishments ( Ideology tag, MakingMemories photo corners and Karen Foster Design telescope charm).
