The Puzzling Place in Keswick is a fun little ‘museum’ of puzzles and illusions. There are mind bending puzzles to solve, a hologram gallery, and much more. The best part is the Anti-Gravity room which completely tricks your senses. There’s a seat that rolls ‘upwards’ along rollers, and people appear to be leaning at weird angles. Of course it’s all an illusion as the walls and floor are built at odd angles, but it’s such a strange experience – your brain just can’t work it out.
The backing paper is from the Miss Empire collection by Kaisercraft and comes complete with doodled mathematical equations – just perfect for these physics-defying photos. The impossible quote is also by Kaisercraft – cut from a Looking Glass collection page. I glittered some chipboard hands and cut some question marks using my Slice machine.
I found some felt arrows and a metal ‘Spooky’ tag, as well as a couple of K and Co phrases which I matted onto contrasting cardstock.
The ‘Curious’ strip is cut from the Looking Glass paper – all Kaisercraft 12 x 12 sheets have a printed ‘border’ on the reverse of the barcode strip, so nothing goes to waste.
