Today I received my first box from the lovely people at Boxcitement.
They promise a box of stationery, craft and jewellery and I thought that it sounded perfect for me! They have several plans on the website including some non-rolling subscriptions which makes a pleasant change. I opted for the 3 months only subscription at £17 a month including UK postage. You can get a 10% discount code if you sign up for the newsletter, so this dropped the price to just over £15 a box which seemed great value.
The boxes are letterbox friendly, so no worrying if your box has been left with a weird neighbour or placed in with the recycling!! This morning I heard a satisfying ‘clunk’ in the hallway and went to see what I’d got.
A lot of the fun is in the opening so I was thrilled to find more to open inside the outer box: pretty printed tissue paper sealed with a sticker….and starry sequins!!
Inside lots of little gifts based around the Midsummer Nights theme. These are all custom designed, and coordinated beautifully.
A canvas bag with a metallic print – perfect for a picnic lunch:
A lovely kraft envelope with a gold print contains four arty postcards – perfect to frame or send to friends:
A glassine packet contained three pencils mounted on a card, perfect for making notes in the lovely notebook. I love this sun design that is running through the items….
A mindfulness colouring page to occupy a lazy afternoon in the sun…
A carefully bubble wrapped clay decoration on a hanging ribbon was next out, followed by some gold and silver ribbon wrapped around a card. Finally a little envelope containing a leather and metallic bead wrap bracelet – the perfect summer accessory!
You know what – I love this selection!! It is so different to other subscription boxes. These items are pretty and on-trend. They have a hand made and quirky feel to them. I love the fact that some of the items were individually wrapped inside the box – perfect for gift giving, or to just prolong the opening enjoyment! I look forward to my next two boxes…..
