The East Wind New Release – Aurora Spring Lady

It’s the start of a new month and today there is an amazingly beautiful new release image in The East Wind shop. Aurora Spring Lady is the first of a series of images featuring traditional Korean dress and I love her. You can find her here.

I used Dylusions ink sprays for the background of my journal page then used black Distress Ink through a Sunburst mask in the corners. I took my Star circle mask and used the Distress Ink again, then offest the mask and used white gesso – this created a shadow effect.

The stamps are by Artemio and are stamped with Versafine ink.

I coloured Aurora with Copics, Promarkers and pencils before fussy cutting and gluing in place. I just love her exquisite outfit, all those folds!!
