Giving Thanks

November is the month of Thanksgiving for my friends in America, and although we don’t celebrate the occasion here I wanted to make a thank you card using one of the beautiful Ching-Chou Kuik images I won last week.

The image is called Gentleness and I coloured it using my Promarkers.

The backing paper is by Basic Grey and I layered some burnt orange Sizzix leaves over the top. I matted the image onto orange and deep teal card and mounted on the card with 3d foam. I stuck some coffee coloured Card Candi onto the die cuts and added some Hobby House paper roses.

The sentiment is a Dovecraft stamp which I cut with a Spellbinders die. I finished off with a spotty grosgrain ribbon bow.

I am entering the following challenges:

Ching-Chou Kuik – Add some Ribbon

Ching-Chou Kuik FB –  Say Thank You

Delightful Challenges – Patterned Paper

Art Impressions – Zoo or Animal

Milk Coffee – Hand Coloured Image

Crafters Cafe – Thank You

Crafty Creations – Brads, Buttons or Bows

City Crafter – My Deer

Card Mania – Use Your Dies

Aurora Wings – Heartfelt Thanks

Avenue 613 – ATG / Thanks

  3. Teresa, what a gorgeous card you have made here. It fits our challenge this month well of “Add some ribbon”. Thanks for taking part and good luck. Best wishes, Kym (Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps Design Team Leader) PS Don’t forget to add a second entry for the challenge as you have used one of Ching-Chou Kuik’s digital stamps from her Etsy Store
