Left of Center Creative Challenges (Day 17 – 31 Days of Halloween)

Today’s Halloween post is a double whammy! First up is my DT card for Left of Center. This week’s challenge is sponsored by A Day For Daisies and we have a Sketch theme.

I have used the beautiful Raven Waiting image which is available here.

I used some Graphic45 paper in the background then printed the image twice so I could layer it up. I used a Cart-US label die to cut out the image and inked around the edges. The Falling Stars die is by Marianne, and I finished with a Cheery Lynn sentiment.

We are looking to add to the DT at Left of Center – if you think you might be interested then pop over to the blog for all the details. We would love you to join our team!!!

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Cheery Lynn – Black and Orange

Aud Sentiments – ATG

Sarah Hurley 365 – Halloween

Addicted To Stamps – Make Your Mark

Lil Red Wagon – Spooky

Try It On Tuesday – Spooky

A Day for Daisies – Halloween

My second creation is an ATC featuring one of the Danse Macabre Skeletons by Smeared Ink. I added a stamped sentiment and spider button.

  1. Fab use of the sketch – especially those hanging stars. The skeleton makes me laugh, cause I can’t imagine something that scary being scared of something else! Love the webby background and green spider 🙂

  2. Love the raven waiting, awesome layers and I really like the soft coloring! Great background paper.
Hilarious, the skele is scared of the cute spider!
