Punk You Girl Midway Inspiration – Skeletons and Secrets

It’s that time of year when DT calls are a-plenty…..and I am thrilled to have been asked to join the ladies at Punk You Girl! (I seem to be getting known for my darker projects – I don’t mind at all as it’s great to be appreciated!)

The current challenge is ‘Skeletons and Secrets’, so that gives you plenty of scope for you darker-themed projects. Our lovely leader Kay is providing the prize (a bumper pack of crafting goodies!) so please come and join us!

I have used the quirky ‘Skellie Gossip’ from Ike’s Art which is available here.

I coloured the image with Prismacolour pencils and Spectrum Noir pens before matting onto spiderweb paper and embossed orange foiled paper.

I made a centre step card from black cardstock and added orange webs using a Cheery Lynn border die. Some iridescent gems add a bit of sparkle. I made a bow from orange satin ribbon, adding a skull charm to the centre.

I added a couple of CheeryLynn web corners to the centre panel as a finishing touch.
