I don’t usually like wedding cards – too fussy and formal for my tastes. However when I saw the DT cards at The East Wind I was inspired to make this non-traditional card.
I used Lucy Loo Arabian Nights and coloured her with my Promarkers. I added some Stickles to the’smoke’ coming out of her lamp for a magical sparkle!
The whole card is a double easel card. The left side is a twisted easel, and I used a pretty Marianne die for the frame in pearlescent white card. I backed this onto silver holographic card. The sentiment is printed off the computer and layered onto silver holographic card. A few lilac gems pick up the colour from Lucy’s hair.
The right side of the card is a straight easel card and I cut the image out and matted and layered onto white pearlescent card and silver holographic card. The lacy flowers are Tattered Lace die cuts in white and lilac pearl and more silver holographic card, curled and shaped for dimension. I used a Cheery Lynn flourish to cut silver swirls. A Wild Rose Studio flower corner die was cut in lilac pearl card.
Little clear gems add more bling to the flowers!
